It's not perfect, but It's nice
A stay steeped in history! The captivating chats with Dot were a highlight. The breakfast spread was excellent, despite the owner's absence in serving. Yes, the heating was not optimal , but the unique charm of this timbered building more than made up for it. I'd willingly return!

I stayed in this pretty standard hotel for 1 day, had very lovely experience, liked its stunning location so close to the local pub which was very welcoming and lots of outdoor seating as well as cafes. Garden was perfect for breakfast...

What a quirky, old gem! The breakfast spread was delightful, with plenty of options. Just watch your head on the low beams — made for some funny moments! I'd return for sure.

Charming old rectory with fascinating history. Shower height made washing a challenge for taller guests.

period hotel, quiet atmosphere, close proximity to NEC
No tea making facilities in the room!!! Showering was uncomfortable due to low pressure and awkward height!!! A bedside table and lamp would add some much-needed functionality!!!

Charming Coleshill vibes 🌳
Dot was such a lekker host, full of stories and even offered us a nightcap of port after a long ride-what a treat! The place is filled with unique decor that gives you that homey feel. Brekkie had plenty to choose from, more than enough to start the day right!
Only thing was the shower, bit awkward to use because of the size-definitely not for the taller folk!

I had such high hopes for this place, but alas! The shower was practically a torture device for anyone over 5'4". No tea making facilities in the room? Who could posssibly survive such harsh conditions? Honestly, I expected a complimentary upgrade, considering this indignity I endured. Just couldn't give a good review.

Charming stay with good hosts
We were captivated by the fine historical hotel and the warm atmosphere created by Dot and Jane. Their stories about the house added an enriching layer to our stay.
Being taller than average made showering a bit awkward due to low water pressure and the shower's height, yet the relaxing bath was a nice alternative.

Quirky atmospheric charm. Interesting historical vibe with a captivating structure.
Severe issues with electrics felt dangerous at times. Poor sanitation meant basic comforts were lacking. The parking situation was tricky and cramped, leading to potential frustration.
